Cristiano Ronaldo’s detractors are called “sad and a shame” by a Real Madrid star
Real Madrid defender David Alaba has raised concerns over unemployed former Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo. There’s no doubt that Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the finest players of his generation, having won five Ballon d’Ors. However, the past few months haven’t gone to plan for the former Real Madrid superstar.
Ronaldo’s early attempts to sign for a Champions League side this summer failed. At United, he was often relegated to the bench under Erik ten Hag. The Portuguese legend hasn’t been shy about criticizing Red Devils coach.
Al Nassr have confirmed to Cristiano Ronaldo’s camp their intention to push and insist in the next days. The bid until June 2025 is still valid on the table, no plan to give up. 🇸🇦 #transfers

As a result, Ronaldo’s contract with Manchester United has been cancelled, with the striker entering the 2022 FIFA World Cup as an unrestricted free agent. Fernando Santos then benched him in the knockout round of the Portugal tournament, which they lost.
Many fans and analysts have grown tired of the 37-year-old’s antics on and off the pitch in recent months. As such, he has often been the target of harsh criticism. However, Alaba have since vigorously defended the former Juventus player, saying much of the criticism leveled at him is unjustified.
“I am personally very grateful for what he has achieved over the past 15 years. My generation has been influenced by him. What he has achieved is incredible. It is sad and unfortunate that you have to witness such an event or read such a thing about it. More recently, Cristiano Ronaldo worked at Real Madrid facilities.
Cristiano Ronaldo is now focused on finding a new club after the World Cup. Although he has struggled to find a team to play for so far, he is adamant that he can continue playing European football. Ronaldo has been working hard to stay fit and prepare for life at his new club. He even asked to use Real Madrid facilities in view of his flight to Dubai.
