Following his Saturday performance against Nottingham Forest, TalkSPORT analyst Scott Minto was all praise for Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.

The youngster’s ability to stay upright after being challenged in the penalty area of the opposition really impressed the former Chelsea player.

According to Minto, this was a breath of fresh air because nowadays going down for challenges inside the penalty area is the usual. He discussed the situation by saying (through HITC) the following:

“He is old school in how honest he is. He got inside the box there, two players marking him, he went the other side, there was a slight touch, not enough really to go down.”But I would say at least 50% of Premier League forwards would have gone down and asked the question of the referee. But he didn’t.”

One of the Gunners’ top players is without a doubt the 21-year-old winger. The aforementioned incident happened after Saka doubled Arsenal’s lead in the first half. Within the first 30 minutes, he gave Mikel Arteta’s team a 1-0 lead with a left-footed curling shot from outside the area.

The gifted winger scored the second goal, making it two for the north London team. The young player stepped inside when William Saliba sent the ball to him at the right side of the opposition box, and he scored a spectacular curler. Cole commented following the goal (as reported by Just Arsenal): “The way he opens up, he hits it with the inside of his foot and his whole body just whips it round and it hits the net with violence. This kid is the first name on the England sheet, he’s an unbelievable player.”

The England international is off to a good start after recording 14 goals and 11 assists in the Premier League the previous season. He will be crucial to the Gunners’ success this year.
