Thierry Henry explains to Erling Haaland how he can score 100 goals every week and lead Manchester City to a quadruple victory.

Following Manchester City’s historic Treble, Erling Haaland sought guidance from Thierry Henry on how to enhance his game. The Arsenal veteran answered by telling the Norwegian that he should now concentrate on scoring goals with his right foot.

“If Haaland starts to go on his right foot and finishes with his right across the same run he makes on his left, it’s over,” Henry stated on CBS Sports. He’ll score 100 goals per week.

“I said it on air. I think in the box there is nothing you can learn, what you do is second to none. But, back to the goal, going onto your right sometimes, making the runs where you don’t want to go. There are some things you can learn, but then they will go to the quadruple!”

Haaland had an outstanding debut season at Manchester City, scoring 52 goals in 53 games across all competitions. He was the Premier League and Champions League top scorer, and he was instrumental in City’s treble-winning season.

Erling Haaland will now take a well-earned rest before rejoining the squad for the club’s pre-season in July. This time, Pep Guardiola’s team will travel to Asia to prepare for the 2023-24 season.

Messi, on the other hand, has 21 goals and 20 assists in 41 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain. While the Parisians won Ligue 1, they were ousted in the Round of 16 in both the Champions League and the Coupe de France.

As a result, despite winning the World Cup, Messi’s numbers fall short of those of Manchester City’s Norwegian striker. Some supporters, on the other hand, want to see their favourite player win the Ballon d’Or.
